Call the number on the back of your insurance card and ask them these questions:
1. Do I have outpatient mental health benefits?
2. Is Kent Robinson, MA LPC, rendering provider at Central Michigan Christian Counseling, LLC considered in-network for my specific plan?
3. Do I have a deductible to meet before coverage kicks in?
4. What is my co-pay or co-insurance amount per session?
What if we are not in-network?
If we are not in-network with your insurance provider, you still have options to help offset the cost of therapy. We can provide you with a superbill, which is a special receipt that includes all the information your insurance company needs to process an out-of-network claim. Many clients are able to receive partial reimbursement after submitting a superbill to their insurance.
How It Works
Receive a superbill from us after each session after you pay in-full with your credit card.
Submit the superbill to your insurance company (many plans allow online submission).
They process your claim according to your out-of-network benefits.
If eligible, your insurance provider reimburses you directly.
Questions to Ask Your Insurance:
Do I have out-of-network coverage for mental health services?
What percentage of the session cost will be reimbursed?
Is there a deductible I need to meet first?
How do I submit a superbill for reimbursement?
Using your out-of-network benefits can be a flexible way to work with the therapist you choose while receiving some financial support from your insurance company.
Please note: Reimbursement is not guaranteed and depends on your individual insurance plan, deductible, and benefits. Clients are responsible for payment at the time of service.
